The heart:
The heart is made up of 4 chambers. There are two chambers on each side of the heart. The top two chambers are called the atria. They fill with blood. The heart is about the size of your fist.
The red blood cells:
The red blood cells pick up oxygen from the lungs and goes throw the heart. Then the heart pumps the blood for where the body needs it. Then they drop off the good oxygen and then picks up carbon dioxide and takes it back to the heart and then it gets exhaled out and then goes back to the lungs and gets more oxygen.
How the heart pumps blood:
Each pump of the heart pumps blood through the veins. Each pump takes 3-5 secondes.
